Who We Are

NCF Staff and Partners
National Cristina Foundation is a private operating foundation working to advance digital inclusion by building awareness about the value of technology reuse. Desktop computers, laptops, printers, monitors, and other equipment coming out of their first place of use can be given a second productive life for developing human potential.

Our custom-developed donation platform helps facilitate the connection between technology donors and organizations that can immediately put the equipment to good use. Using the nonprofit locator, donors can easily review a list of pre-screened and pre-qualified local organizations and select the organization whose needs and mission best fit with their interests.

Those pre-qualified nonprofit organizations make up the Foundation’s Cristina Network. More than 1,300 organizations make up the Cristina Network, a nationwide community working to help people in need benefit from technology training and support.

A subset of the Cristina Network is the Alliance for Technology Refurbishing and Reuse (AFTRR). National Cristina Foundation serves in a backbone support role for this growing community of nonprofit organizations who all share similar missions of acquiring used technology, refurbishing the equipment (or responsibly recycling end-of-life items), and getting technology back out into the communities they serve. Many AFTRR member organizations are equipped to handle even the largest of technology donations from governmental or corporate donors.

National Cristina Foundation and our partners in communities across the country are bound by the collective belief that technology reuse can unlock unlimited potential, connecting those in need with opportunity, community, and hope.
