Housing for New Hope

  • Mission Statement

    The Mission of Housing for New Hope is to prevent and end homelessness by providing access to housing, healthcare, and integrated services.

    Our services include:

    Presbyterian Urban Ministry – Crisis assistance for families, the disabled, and the elderly, many of whom are at risk of becoming homeless.

    PATH – Outreach to homeless persons with mental illness.

    Rapid Re-Housing – Assists homeless persons to move as quickly as possible into permanent housing.

    Dove House – Transitional housing for single homeless women seeking to regain independence in their lives.

    Housing for New Hope Alumni – Valuable men and women who have completed the requirements for graduation from a transitional housing program, and who are now organized to support one another and contribute their energy to the challenge of ending homelessness.

    Andover Apartments – Twenty units of supportive and affordable housing for homeless persons with disabilities.

    Sherwood Park Apartments – Twenty units of supportive and affordable housing for homeless men and women living at or below poverty level.

    Williams Square Apartments – Twenty-four units of supportive, affordable housing for homeless persons with disabilities.

    Streets to Home and Community Supportive Housing – 26 units of scattered site rental housing for homeless persons with disabilities.

    Your donation will be used to provide computer access to our clients and training to our staff so we can provide services to even more individuals.

  • Project Abstract

    Our goal is to provide clients with computer access and equip our staff with the training and resources needed to assist the homeless. Through computer access our clients can find additional resources and even employee. Many employers only take online applications.

  • Target Population

    Our target population includes but are not limited to individuals with physical, mental and substance abuse disabilities.
